Perfect for frying!
I love this pot since it's stainless steel. Most of the turkey frier kits comes with an aluminum pot - the aluminum will bleed into the oil!

Attention Homebrewers
I bought this pot for homebrewing. It is certainly adequate for that purpose, but there are some things I wish I had known ahead of time. First, the bottom of this pot is "raised" (not flat), making it unsuitable for use on an electric stove. Second, the pot is much taller than it is wide, which helps with boil-overs, but makes it a bit awkward to handle, especially for things like lifting into an ice-filled sink, or pouring the wort into the fermenter.

I use this burner for brewing 6 gallon batches of beer. I only need to use it at about 1/5 power to keep a boil going with no lid on. Really simple and easy to use.
King Kooker burner works great
We had an extra pot (thought one was lost, replaced it, then found the first...Murphy's Law) so needed a second burner with stand. Works really well.
We recently purchased the King Kooker Stainless Steel Pot after our aluminum one developed a hole in the bottom of it, rendering it useless, after only 6 uses. What a big difference in the quality of stainless vs aluminum. The pot is obviously heavier but I would definitely not consider it heavy. We have used it only two times but the success was great. The heat was evenly distributed and the turkeys and chickens cooked perfectly. I highly recommend stainless especially with all the negative things coming out regrading cooking with aluminum.
